Abstract
In Chagan Lake region, native people conserved the nature resources through traditional fishing method. However, the wisdom is vanishing with the rapid economic growth nowadays.The aim of this paper is to explore the special characteristics of symbiotic living culture by focusing on winter fishing method in Xishanwai hamlet. the following conclusions are made clear.1)In the old days, native people moderately utilize things and objects that are close at hand. Based on the understanding of natural surroundings, native people led a sustainable life with the native wisdom.2)Collaboration fishing works created a close bond between people and people.3)Owing to the share of the belief in traditional fishing methods, living culture in this region could be passed from generation to generation.
