Abstract
Civic pride means a sense of familiarity or emotional attachment citizens feel to the city where they live in. In a city where the civic pride is nurtured, citizens feel empathy for its culture, education, and infrastructure, which revitalizes the city. In a city where it is not nurtured, citizens become indifferent to the city, which is expected to lead to a population decline in the future.Civic pride is effective in town development by the government or as a hint for event planning, but it is difficult to estimate the feeling in the minds of citizens. I studied a workshop where citizens can be aware of the amount or contents of their own civic pride.
