Design Development of Molded Plywood Stool

Abstract

“Good design” is a result of the integration of function , aesthetics and manufacturing technique. The purpose of this research is investigating the possibility of "Good Design" through the design of a molded plywood stool. The prototype introduced here is the revised version of the one I presented in the 60th Annual Conference. The biggest difference is thickness of structure parts and fixing method of them. With this improvement, sitting comfort and manufacturing rationality are advanced.
