Abstract
Taiwan is a multicultural country. Whenever people talk about Taiwan’s culture, they always include the culture in the military base. The era of Taiwan military base plays an important role in Taiwan’s history. This study is focused on the interaction between the life and the culture in the military base. Examining from the interviews of the long-term inhabitants along with the conversation of the life experience, we are able to connect the life to the culture in the base. The data not only provokes the recognition of self-culture from the inhabitants in the base but also provides the information for people who study this field in the future.
