Abstract
The Tang Dynasty, the calligraphy reached a peak with its superior skills, showing a prosperous scene. The regular script also entered into a grand era, which helped the skills of the regular script reach a mature stage, and helped form the tendency of the aesthetic appreciation. Chu Suiliang was one of the three masters of calligraphy in the early Tang Dynasty. He first learned the regular script from Yu Shinan, and then Wang Xizhi. With his
own understanding, he finally created his own unique style of calligraphy – “Chu Style”.
