Evaluation of utilizing railway trackside space for urban development through Questionnaire survey of local goverment and railway company

Abstract

Activities using trains for the urban development is utilized very often recently. However,railway tracksides have not been utilized effectively, and some of them are often used as illegal parking place or crime outbreak. 
The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between utilizing railway trackside for urban development and evalutation of railway using Questionnaire survey of local goverment and railway company.
As a result of this survey, we make clear that the evalation of railways depends on raising trees and plants, also and the relationship between the Transport operators and government and residents.
