Abstract
I propose the Long sitting position wheel chair for people with Quadriplegia. This product make it possible to use general handicap-accessible toilet. Quadriplegia are not paralyzed only lower half body, but also their hands. Some of them can’t horizontal transfer. Therefore, they can’t use general handicap-accessible toilet.Rehabilitation centers are supporting training for these people to be independent. One of training, they practice how to use raised-floor-style toilet. But this kind of toilet are only in their home or rehabilitation centers. This product support them to their independence.
