Abstract
As traditional industries in Taiwan has been forced to undergo a transition for a brighter future in recent years, they are in demand of a systematic development and execution model in order to facilitate the process of building self-owned brands and inventing featured commodities with very limited resources . Therefore this study introduces Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) to create local cultural & creative products with a well-structured process in the hopes that customers’ needs can be met while the cultural flavors of a specific district can be preserved. The result showed that IDDV of DFSS is a set of techniques and tools for process management and can help to implement a design model.
