Abstract
Axiomatic design algorithm is suitable for digital design on computer and a number of complex and novel shapes have been successfully obtained. However, it doesn't consider any physical characteristics of the objects and just generates "shape". In the paper we argue an extended axiomatic design approach, which hybridize axiomatic design algorithm and adaptive design algorithm. Adaptive algorithm, here, is introduced for considering physical characteristics and behavior of the object. Such an example, L-system and cellular automata are applied for axiomatic algorithm and adaptive algorithm respectively.
