Production system for tailor-made shoes with a smartphone

Abstract

Interactive design is indispensable for involving user’s participation to produce tailor-made shoes. In this study, we use a smart phone to measure user’s feet by taking photos of their own feet instead of three-dimensional scanners. Tailor-made shoes are designed on the data of foot through the internet.
