Abstract
Recently, with the spread of 3D-CAD and the improvement of performance, various curved / curved surface shapes are used in styling of industrial products. Conventional study proposed a method of quantifying "complexity" using line integral of curvature representing the total amount of angle change of normal in curve shape. This research proposes a quantification method of "complexity" by expanding the above quantification method and using the surface integral of Gaussian curvature representing the total amount of angle change of normal in curved surface shape.
