Host: Japanese Society for the Science of Design
This project is designed to examine mascot characters are a useful tool to boost the recognition and enhance the image of products. This is a collaboration project by Takarazuka University and Mizutori Industrial co., ltd to promote a product (geta) named "kokon". We proposed to personify the product in order to promote. We designed a female character named "Mizutori Kokon". We made point of displays and flyers which were shown at some exhibition and in some shops. We also drew manga which was on the monthly news magazine of our University.
