Abstract
We conducted practice and psychological evaluation on an art program of making dolls using a "Smile Icon" for elderly people who need nursing care in a special nursing home. There were significant differences in the face scale evaluation of 12 participants before and after the art program and we confirmed the psychological effect of improving mood. In addition, the participants showed attachment reactions to their works even after the program. This program leads to maintaining and improving daily living functions by improving mood and assisting in rehabilitation by generating continuous interaction.
