We developed an interactive program “Let’s stand up and draw art in the sky!” that connects rehabilitation exercises with the changes images of virtual reality device. The level of rehabilitation exercise achieved in the outcome of the resulting artwork is reflected as feedback to encourage patients to perform their movements of rehabilitation exercises. When inpatients at a recovery-phase rehabilitation hospital performed sitting-down and standing-up exercises as part of our proposed rehabilitation program, their ratings of “Enjoyment” of their rehabilitation improved after the exercises compared with before the exercises. The average number of movements performed by patients who used the program showed that the number of movements increased. The exercises also added enjoyment to the inpatients’ long-term rehabilitation.

It is said that "Complexity" and "Order" greatly influence the "Beauty" of a curved shape, and in this research we attempted to quantify the "Order". First, the studies of "Order" are organized and "Order" in the curved shape is defined as the degree of reduction of the shape information. Then, the symmetry which seems to be the most important factor of the degree of reduction is expressed from the group theory by using the curvature autocorrelation function and the fuzzy set. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed index was confirmed by cognitive experiments.

This study aims to confirm the relevance between the colors of the light (red, blue, green, white) and the brain activity of the person who watches the light. To investigate the effect of light colors, this study conducted the examinations including subjective evaluation and brain activity measurement using the NIRS (near-infrared spectroscopy). Our finding suggests that the subjects’ preference and arousal degree of the light environment can be objectively evaluated via frontal lobe brain activity measurement.

This research describes the results of sensibility evaluation about tactile elements perceived by a fingertip when a button is pressed. I investigated with SD method four tactile elements from among many tactile elements that constitute pressing. Four tactile elements were "pressing force", "stroke", "area" and "temperature". Investigated results were analyzed with a factor analysis. As a result, bias was found in impressions for each tactile element.

The art of face is a kind of behavior that people decorate the face. art of face is still the most impressive of Peking Opera .In the role of Peking Opera, Whether it is graphics or color design can have a cultural background with the story of the place. In the early face art use three colors (black, white, red) to explain the role of the story of positioning and change. With a few three colors of the graphics change highlights the characteristics of the role and more magnified graphics design space, so that the development of facial art more extensive. Therefore, this study will be the three colors of the face of the graphics on the area of the proportion of changes and visual feelings as a research direction. Research methods on the questionnaire asked subjects in the color area on the face after the change in the visual experience of the effect.

Through observation, it was found that the structure of the facility building greatly affected the efficiency of work and recording. For these reasons, we believe that it is necessary to develop a system that makes use of records for care and for education in developing the recording system. And it can be thought that it can be made more efficient by the location of equipment installation.

We examined what is being written and how to act as an information source. The subject of the review was Tsukurepo of the cook pad. As a result, it was thought that examples of improvement of recipes and reviews written with applications are received as useful information for the next user. Also, differences in consciousness and difference in how to receive reviews were born. Therefore, unification of consciousness was required.

However, IoT and the development of smarthome control system may be the solution to this problem. This research consists of two open-ended interviews which explore the life style and needs of the senior citizens in Taiwan and concludes what aspects do the caregivers consider the most important in daily life. The result will be used as the core in future smarthome control system designs, hoping to reduce the stress of the middle age caregivers and also improve senior citizens’ ability of taking care of themselves.

Abstract : In this research, acoustic measurements were carried out to investigate performance of the ear pieces about sound collecting. The ear piece has a paraboloidal reflector focusing on the ear canal. The influences of area and position of the reflector and of the distance between the ear canal and the reflector on the performance were investigated.
The results are as follows; 1) Sound collecting performance increased as the area of reflector became wider. 2) The performance decreased as the distance between the ear canal and the reflector increased. 3) The performance was not affected by positions of the reflector.

In this study, I describe Pendulum Pattern generated rules by mathematical principle modeling based on theories of non-linear dynamical systems. As a result I comfirmed the following. (1)A generation system is the cause of the instability of generating process. This study explored the handle shape and gripping comfort of hair straighteners. The handle was improved in terms of its diameter, width, and grip angle, and ergonomic experiments were conducted to compare the improved handle with those of commonly used straightener products. The results verified that the aforementioned improvement effectively alleviated problems concerning hair straightener use and enhanced the convenience and comfort of users. Therefore, the study results can serve as a reference for proposing new design that addresses the gripping comfort of hair straighteners.

The purpose of this study is to make new Japanese patterns for modern Japanese people and to establish its method. Historically, traditional patterns had been developed to use the familiar things as motives. Making samples one after another, we decided to use family names as the motif of the new patterns. Seven traditional patterns were dissolved to each unit of figure in which each character of 30 well-known family names was plugged. In total, over 140 kinds of new Japanese pattern were made.

Instead of extraction technology, we created a line drawing with SIC(Synergistic Image Creator). As a result, it was possible to create a sketch with incomplete outlines like human handwriting.
