Abstract
“minamo chair” is an easy chair consisting of a seat surface made of a combination of a frame made of stainless steel stick and a silicone rubber tube and a leg portion of a cantilever structure made of stainless steel square bar. We tried to reproduce the anticipation of unknown feeling, a little anxiety, feeling of liberation felt when entering the sea for the first time by the translucent seating surface and the movement of the frame. The feeling floating in water consists of the following three points. 1) Continued upward and downward swaying caused by the cantile- ver structure 2)Vertical and lateral swaying caused by the strength of the silicone rubber tube on the seating surface 3) Seat angle similar to the posture when relaxing in the water.
