Relationship with impression user feeling from tactile elements that constitute pressing

Abstract

This research describes the results of sensibility evaluation about tactile elements perceived by a fingertip when a button is pressed. I investigated with SD method four tactile elements from among many tactile elements that constitute pressing. Four tactile elements were "pressing force", "stroke", "area" and "temperature". Investigated results were analyzed with a factor analysis. As a result, bias was found in impressions for each tactile element.
