In Japan, the number of visually impaired people is increasing with the aging of the population. As people get older, the number of medications they take tends to increase, and with visual impairment, it is speculated that problems with medication may increase. In this study, we conducted semi-structured interviews with 24 visually impaired people about various problems that occur when taking medication and how to alleviate these problems. In addition, these devices were classified into three categories: identification, manipulation, and information, and the direction of future support for medication administration was discussed.
