In Cambodia, political uncertainty due to repeated regime changes continued from the late 70s to 90s, after the Cambodian Genocide occurred. Up till now, the country was referred to as the poorest in Southeast Asia. These days, neighboring and Western countries are actively involved in the development but on the other hand, education, especially art education, has been ignored. If we keep ignoring art education in Cambodia, it not only means that restoration and preservation become difficult, but also that Cambodian artistic culture will fall into decline. The purpose of the study is to grasp the current situation of Cambodian education as well as to discuss class plans and the assessment method.
