This paper reports a publishing tech zines practice with undergraduate students who learned computational design exercise classes. The practice has started with two motivations. First, giving the students the opportunity to share their acquired knowledge broadly. Second, contributing to the open tech culture and the technologist’s community. In addition, the practice gave us some educational results such as improvement in their writing skills and awareness of the responsibility as the author. Considering the project, we found the significance of the activity: publishing zine by ourselves is an activity to explore alternative publishing in the age of the Internet.
