We argue that hands-on designing our own living makes our lives meaningful. As our societies expanded in the history, the efficiency principle prevailed and suppressed the creativity principle. This resulted in the monopoly by professional designers in every aspect of our lives and suppressed our natural potentials and passions for designing our lives. We propose designing based on LDP – Local Domestic Products by creating networks of resources for hands-on designing our own lives in our local contexts.
