This paper describes the proposal of the classification of mental value that grows from the long-term use experience of the service for a guide design to encourage self-directed behavior and provide vitality. As a method, we collected episodes of mental value generated and growing from the long-term use experience of services and analyzed growth patterns. As a result, the growth patterns of mental value were classified 5 categories: Calm-feeling, Accumulation attachment, Esteem needs, Motivation, Self-forming. It was found that modeling growth patterns will serve as a guideline for designing services.
