Host: Japanese Society for the Science of Design
The purpose of this research is to get to know one another better within the organization and create a state where it is easy to collaborate by finding wisdom of design, which is the practical knowledge of designers, from reflection of designing and sharing it with others. This paper considers the usefulness of essay of one’s experience in the process of expressing this design knowledge and sharing it with others. In this paper, we take a case study of a project that create portfolio held at MIMIGURI.inc for about half a year from September 2020. In this case, when reflecting on designing, in order to express not only the design act but also the "mental image" behind the design act, we made two ingenuity: using four questions and using essay of one’s experience.
