Distance learning support system for probe operation of neck ultrasound examination.

Abstract

Due to the spread of COVID-19, in practical training at medical institutions, it is difficult to understand just by watching the video. Therefore, we have developed a distance learning support system so that remote students can easily learn probe operation of neck ultrasound examination. The system uses projection mapping to project the teacher's probe operations onto a remote student-side model as a virtual probe image.We developed it and the evaluation experiments was conducted.
