Research on the use of design thinking in DX in big companies

Research the state of utilizing design thinking and identification of issues in the utilization of design thinking.

Abstract

In 2018, METI released the “DX Report,” recommending digital transformation (DX), and various companies are working on DX. Although Japanese companies have achieved digitization and digitalization, they have not achieved digital transformation, such as customer value creation and business model transformation. Against this situation, “Design thinking” is proposed in DX. However, it will be problems in implementing design thinking in business organizations. Therefore, we will summarize the status of digital transformation in Japan and conduct a survey on the implementation status and issues of design thinking.
