Generally golden ratio is said to be beautiful. Previous study on aesthetic aspect ratio of rectangle reported that the beautiful property is golden ratio for lying rectangle and silver ratio for standing rectangle. There are three unclear points on previous report. 1) Presented aspect ratio is not continuous, 2) the reason of beauty on aspect ratio, 3) the reason of “golden ratio on lying rectangle and silver ratio on standing rectangle”. The test results shows,1) the beautiful aspect ratio was not exactly same as golden ratio or silver ratio, 2) the beauty of aspect ratio was effected by familiar objects, 3) the vertical direction was overestimated.
