Abstract

As the aging process gradually accelerates, rural elderly care has also become one of the key issues that cannot be ignored. This article is based on a survey of 530 elderly people in rural areas in Liaoning Province, and through statistical analysis, it is found that rural elderly people in Liaoning Province have a strong willingness to care for their elderly at home; When seeking medical treatment, there are common problems such as long distances from medical institutions and high medical costs; Daily entertainment activities mainly include watching TV, listening to radio, and playing mahjong; It is common for elderly people to have multiple illnesses, and they generally suffer from circulatory and motor system diseases; The issue of care and elderly care for disabled elderly people is prominent; The general impression of nursing homes is poor, and there are not many people who can accept nursing care in nursing homes.
