Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify how teachers support students' making process in a design-industry collaboration project. The case study is a collaborative class between the department of industrial design and an office furniture manufacturer, focusing on the conversations between teachers and students in the class, and coding the verbalizations made by the teachers. By analyzing the data from a longitudinal perspective, we will examine how teachers support the students throughout the making process.
