Abstract

This study investigates the optimal signal combination affecting passengers' emergency responses in autonomous buses using multisensory factors. It employs the Technology Acceptance Model for subjective perception assessment, focusing on emergencies that commonly cause injuries. The findings reveal that the presence of visual, auditory, and tactile signals on autonomous buses enhances passengers' perception across various indicators, with flashing visual signals proving to be most effective.
