Design element analysis and AI chatbot research for revitalizing co-working space

Abstract

COVID-19's effect on traditional office jobs has boosted flexible remote work and the demand for Co-Working Spaces (CWS). This study proposed an AI-based analyzing method to investigate the design elements to revitalize CWS. We collected data from 60 nationwide CWS. Using the technique of Automatic Machine Learning (AutoML), we specified prioritized design elements like opening time, fee, and rail passengers per day to revitalize CWS based on AdaBoost algorithm. Additionally, we constructed the AI-based Q&A chatbot of the collected original 60 CWS dataset using OpenAI GPT-3.5 API.
