Thinking about a place to heal women's loneliness

Abstract

As society becomes more diverse, we believe it is important to feel accepted and feel safe.The author wanted to observe opportunities for working women to talk about their inner lives. I set up a provisional “coBAR” for the purpose of dialogue, and recorded the contents of the communication that happened by chance between working women as guests and the author, who was the host and facilitator. This paper examines the value that coBAR gave to the participants, as well as the relationship between the structure of the dialogue, the environment, and props.
