Abstract

This research aims to provide an opportunity for people in Japan where natural disasters frequently occur. We want to re-evaluate disasters by projecting the reality of the time of the disaster to the people of today through the acquisition, utilization, and transmission of 3D data on stone cultural property disaster memorial towers. Specifically, this paper aims to develop a new exhibition method using the acquired 3D data so that the people of today can resonate and deepen their knowledge of the cultural assets, resulting in a more detailed understanding of the reality of natural disasters at the time and the lives and thoughts of the people behind the cultural assets.
