Abstract
This paper focuses on the calming atmosphere created by the physical phenomenon of raindrops and examines how the environment contributes to evoking this sense of tranquility. It explores how the experience of listening to rain has evolved over time and how it reflects different cultural backgrounds. Furthermore, the study presents a hypothesis on how an installation can generate a soothing atmosphere. Through the process of creation and exhibition, this hypothesis is tested and analyzed to better understand the relationship between sound, space, and emotional perception.
