Abstract
The German ophthalmologist Rudolf Berlin identified dyslexia, a disorder causing reading difficulties. It is linked to issues in phonological processing, affecting the brain's ability to associate letters with sounds. Various typefaces were developed to help, but with limited success. Among them, the Dyslexiefont, created by Christian Boer, features long stems, unique shapes, and thick bottoms to enhance readability. A study compared its effectiveness with other fonts(Serif and sans serif fonts).
