Abstract

This study examines dynamic chart formats in electricity management apps. (1) On the information page, the Transform format enhances positive emotions and satisfaction, with female users perceiving better clarity and readability. (2) On the comparison page, the Script format boosts satisfaction and motivation, with female users rating it higher in novelty, while males prefer Transform for its appeal. However, females report more anxiety and negative emotions with Transform.
