Abstract
The development of stacking chairs and stools is a recent phenomenon in the history of chairs. Stacking chairs and stools have undergone a unique evolution of structure and shape, particularly in terms of efficiency and convenience compared to other chairs, but there are only a few studies and papers on them. This study aims to capture this evolution in the classification and genealogy of stacking chairs and stools, and the various transitions, to help create the stacking chairs and stools of the future.
