Abstract
This study explores the theoretical integration of design attitude, Appreciative Inquiry and effectuation. While Appreciative Inquiry and design attitude emphasize meaning-making and relational transformation, they lack action-oriented logic. By introducing effectuation’s five principles, this paper highlights their complementary potential in fostering emergent, practice-based organizational development. The analysis demonstrates how effectuation bridges conceptual inquiry and practical action, providing a dynamic framework where meaning, relationship, and action form a generative cycle of transformation.
