Abstract
The project was implemented in collaboration with the Mito School for the Deaf, with the objective of conceptualizing, fabricating, and installing novel exhibits and elucidations through inclusive design workshops at the Ibaraki Nature Museum. The objective of the project was to explore methods to enhance the enjoyment of the museum for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing visitors. This objective was accomplished by introducing museum exhibits to secondary school students through the efforts of students from the upper secondary school for the deaf. A post-project questionnaire was administered to assess the initiative's effectiveness. The results indicated that the project offered an opportunity for independent learning for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students.
