Abstract
This study explored design education’s potential in regional cooperation through the “Ota-ku Small and Medium Business Web Production Support Project,” conducted with the Ota-ku Industrial Promotion Association and Tokyo University of Technology. Students collaborated with company representatives to create websites and gain practical and communication skills. Through client dialogue, students improved design proposal and problem-solving skills, while companies reaffirmed design’s role. This paper analyzes the process, results, and challenges of design education through regional collaboration.
