Investigation of the effect of using VR on evoking nostalgia

Abstract

This study aims to clarify the superiority or otherwise

of nostalgia stimulation in VR by examining effective methods

of presenting nostalgia stimulation in VR and comparing the

degree of feeling when nostalgia is aroused with stimulation in

2D. In this report, we have conducted a prospective study of the

nostalgia arousal method using VR space based on the nostalgia

arousal method in previous studies, and we examine the method

for a comparative study of the level of nostalgia arousal in 2D

and VR.
