Designing Flood Evacuant Device

Abstract

Due to climate change, Bangladesh is becoming increasingly vulnerable to flooding. Therefore, for the purpose of flood evacuation, we designed a device that can easily move people, livestock, and daily necessities. As a result, we were able to design an evacuation boat that is lightweight, easy to move, and has low water resistance. Future work includes usability testing with a full-scale model and verification of cost and load capacity.
