Development of Way to Examine Workshop Participants' Interests and Findings about Learning Object

Abstract

In this study, we conducted and improved questionnaires in workshops to examine methods for verifying the effectiveness of paper craft as teaching material for animal learning. We clarified that it is possible to verify the effectiveness of teaching materials by comparing changes in responses before and after workshop, and that it is possible to show the effects in detail by making questions focus on details of animal characteristics expressed in paper craft. We also showed that it is necessary to adjust the specificity of questions depending on type of animal (one type, multiple types, similar type), and that layout and instructions of the evaluation form need to be improved devised so that it is easy to use not only for participants but also for staff.
