Abstract

"Oshikatsu" has created a massive economy, yet "online tipping" remains unique due to its unclear material returns. While previous studies focus on "why" people tip, few examine the psychological triggers of "when" they tip. This study analyzes YouTube Super Chats to identify correlations between emotional shifts and tipping behavior. It clarifies how "connection" and "empathy" induce actions despite uncertain reciprocity. By modeling this process, the research explores potential applications in business and social issue resolution beyond the entertainment sector.
