Abstract

This study examines a design education model based on an experience reconstruction process consisting of “experience, editing, and expression.” The SAN-SO project, conducted in collaboration with a local government, was analyzed as a case study. Students engaged in planning, fieldwork, and information dissemination through real-world activities. The results indicate that this process enhances students’ ability to develop perspectives and organize information. The study suggests that integrating experiential learning with social implementation is effective in design education.
