Abstract
A simple animation-making system was developed for physics education in university. This system has been made so that students can understand the process of animation-making, and also in order to awake freshmen's interest in physics and to help them to understand microscopic phenomena in physics. We introduce the system which makes animation automatically by utilizing free software, and report students' response to our practical education for three years. Many students showed interest in the animation-making process and in physics phenomena through animations. We suggest that participation of the students in making animations is effective in physics education in which logical understanding of phenomena is of much importance.
