Abstract
To clarify the optimal treatment of peristomal pyoderma gangrenosum(PG),the medical records of fourteen patients with peristomal PG were analyzed in terms of the clinical diagnosis, operative procedures,time until diagnosis of PG,initial dose of prednisolone,period required for healing of PG,local treatment, patients’ complaints,and so on.In conclusion,at the onset of peristomal PG, early diagnosis and systemic administration of prednisoline proved to be necessary.In topical management,gentie skin care,topical treatment using cadexomer-iodine and prednisolon ointment,application of hydrocolloid dressing,drainage by cutting of skin barrie,and early change of one-piece stoma bag proved to be effective.
