In this paper, we present an introduction to Distributed Hash Table (DHT) technology, an infrastructural building block for peer-to-peer style distributed systems. Distributed Hash Table can enable to perform object discovery efficiently in pure peer-to-peer distributed systems which do not have any centralized servers.
