Most of them have the ability of German conversation, and have good relationship with German and Japanese Friends, therefore they adapt to the social life in Germany. However, on the other hand, they are at home, eating Japanese food, get the information through the internet of Japan, namely, they have been living in close contact with the Japanese culture. About the life in old age, they will eat Japanese food and have contact with Japanese residents. They wanted a Japanese-style welfare services at home rather than German elderly home. From the result of research, the welfare service for the elderly Japanese in Germany, seems to be what you need to respect the culture of Japan. Then, in order to realize this service, collaboration with government agencies, Japanese embassy, consulate, German social welfare service agency and self-help group of Japanese old age is important.
