II. Production Rate of Levoglucosan from Pyrolysis of Giant Ipil-ipil Wood Cellulose

Abstract

The pyrolysis rates of giant ipil-ipil lignocellulose and cellulose were determined. The rate constants were correlated with temperatures ranging from 325 to 375 °C under vacuum. The levoglucosan yields from lignocellulose and cellulose could be predicted from the correlations.
