A Case Report of the Electrocardiogram of the Lion

Abstract

Electrocardiogram was recorded in a female lion two months old weighing 11kg by the A-B leads and standard limb lead II under the sodium pentobarbital anesthesia.
The pattern of the electrocardiogram showed a positive P wave, Rs or qRs type of QRS complex and a positive T wave and was similar to those of human, dog and cat. The electrocardoigraphic values were almost the same as those from the other reporteres except the QT and T interval.
