The methods are described which follow the rosin sizing phenomena under the electron microscope. The gelatin-collodion replica method was particulary devised in order to detect the adsorbed state of rosin by fibers. Electron micrographs are shown for the rosin dispersion, the adsorbed state of rosin by fibers, and the change of adsorbed rosin by heating.
